Pseudo planche push ups (PPPUs) are one of the many push up variations you can learn, but what makes them unique is that they’re very demanding on the shoulders and wrists, plus even incorporates biceps as a stabilizer.
In this video, I demonstrate the proper form cues for the pseudo planche push up along with recommended hand placement and common mistakes to avoid. * Note: Although I did not mention this in the video, please make sure to ALWAYS warm up and especially focus on your wrists during your warm up when training any planche progressions.
** This is all approached for beginners who are new to calisthenics and are looking to branch out into intermediate pushing exercises or starting their planche journey.
